TArmac to Takeoff
McCourt Construction is an expert in the complex scheduling, safety, and security concerns associated with building at an airport. We have experience at airports throughout the Northeast beginning in the 1940’s. McCourt has built or rebuilt every taxiway, runway, and apron at Logan International Airport – New England’s busiest air hub. In addition to airfield construction, McCourt has installed fuel farms, built ferry landing docks, constructed rip rap barriers and seawalls, erected training facilities, and installed security systems.
McCourt Construction received MassPort’s (Logan Airport’s operator) “Contractor of the Year” award in six of the first seven years it was presented. A recent letter of commendation from an airport operator praising McCourt for a $50M airside project stated,
“This highly visible and controversial project was safely completed on time, under budget, and without controversy from the press or neighboring communities. This is a direct reflection of the attitude and professionalism that McCourt brings to the project – time after time.”
